The Instrument is a reliable and accurate instrument and designed for measuring refractive indices and dispersion of liquid and Plastic Material.

The Refractive Index Tester method is easy and quick and requires only few drops of liquid/specimens under Test in order to obtain a pin point accuracy of the measurement. The Instrument employs a daylight system requiring only day light artificial lights can also be used, measurement may be done using either transmitted or reflected light. The system incorporates a compensator to compensator for dispersion in the medium under Test. This enables measurement of refractive indices in white light.
